Add columns in footer with widgets/dynamic content

Hi,

How can I add columns and dynamic content within the columns (like the widget-functionality for sidebars) in the footer, so it becomes like this http://www.maudebbekink.nl/ (see footer).
More websites have this done but have no example of Atahualpa using themes.

You can add a new widget area to the footer (ATO>Add new widget areas). You would just put the code for the new widget area or areas in ATO>Style & edit Footer>Footer:Content
