[SOLVED] Featured Content Bleeding into right sidebar in Safari
I know this issue is most likely due to my lack of CSS design knowledge so I apologize in advance.
On my site http://www.disneylandadvisor.com I have the featured content plugin that works great with IE and Firefox but when you look at the home page in Safari...it bleeds over into the sidebar. Most of the complaints are coming from iPhone Safari users and I don't know if it is a format limitation of that device or not. I thought the auto sizing would handle this but I am also suspicious that the image size is playing a role in this issue. The images are 600X400 pixels but before I spend too much time chasing my tail I thought I would seek the opinion of the people more experienced than I. Have any of you seen this or know what would cause this issue? Thanks in Advance! calcajun |
Looks fine to me in Firefox and Safari on a Mac. Did you fix it?

Thanks for checking this Paulae....
I had tried it with all my P.C. type browsers and couldn't emulate the issue but since I didn't have a Mac I couldn't confirm that specific O.S. browser interaction. I suspect this issue is occurring only on the iPhone which I did see. My users were complaining that the content had format issues in Safari but they were not specific. I am not sure why this happens when using safari on an iPhone but at this point I am going to consider it more of a device issue than a design or plugin issue. Thanks for responding so quickly. calcajun |
