Inserting Excerpts into Static Front Page
 

Hi - love this theme, and am now using it to slowly transform my exisiting sites into WP sites. Never used WP before. I am not an IT guy, no idea about php ( which is why I like this theme so much ) but can cut & paste code OK.

I have a static front page and when it is completed this text wont change much - I will just update the page. But belwo the text I want to show a few excerpts for the most recent posts.

Is there a simple way to include a specific number of excerpts onto the static front page?
