[SOLVED] Background Image Not Showing in IE6

I have set a background image, and it appears completely in Firefox 3, however, my background appears white in IE6. Any suggestions?

I have this in my LAYOUT CONTAINER STYLE:
background: url(/wp-content/images/GreenAgedPaper2.jpg)no-repeat scroll top center;

I have now placed the background image code in Body Stlye under the BTL tab with no success on IE6 still. Can someone assist?

I'm having the same problem, only it doesn't even show in Firefox for me. I'm placing the code in the BTL tab under bodystyle:

background: url(/wp-content/themes/atahualpa/images/bkground/newsfromnowhere-bk1.jpg) repeat top left;

Nothing shows up. I've tried a number of options. Hope someone has an answer.

taz try putting a period ('.') in the url, so change 'url(/wp' to 'url(./wp'

Put a space here
