Understanding Widget Placement

Hi

I've set up the theme to have a left column and a right column. Left column is narrow (ideal for a 160x600 ad slot). Right column is wide (to fit in a 300x250 or similar ad slot).

Well, over on the right, under the big square ad slot, I actually want to have two thin columns. But I have no idea how to do this/where to head for.

Here's an image of the layout I am after: http://i56.tinypic.com/zn7nzt.jpg

Any help would be appreciated.... but needs to be precise instructions so I can follow them.

I am comfortable copying/pasting php into template files, if that's needed - so long as I know which template file.

Thanking you in anticipation.

A very simple way is to create your sidebars, making sure the right sidebar is wide enough for your two items side by side. Then create a text widget containing a table with two cells. Insert your ads in each TD. I did a sample with 2 120x400 images: http://fastwomen.com .

HOWTO: put an AD (or other) widget over/in the middle/under two sidebars

Cheers.

I'll try the text thing .... not keen on being a Gold member until I've got it working... I've setup and binned so many templates over the years because they didn't do what I wanted... but this one looks nice. So Plan A is: get it working, be happy, cough up.

:)
