Child Pages like Category posts
 

Howdy
I would like to list a page's child pages in the same style that a category page lists it's post.

Any idea where to look for some functionality to create a page template that would accomplish this?

You are going to have to do some research and testing. WordPress by default, doesn't allow excerpts on pages. The are some plugins that add this feature you can test.

you will then need to search for a way of listing the child page excerpts (do a google search) and then have to impliment the ideas you find.

Please keep us informed of your progress and final solution so others can use it in the future.

Thanks I figured it was a bit custom.

Well how about this for starters - there is a function bfa_thumb or something like that, that I could use to generate the featured image just as posts do, but it won't take a post id as argument. So I'm not sure where to stick this function to get each child-pages image.

Any help on that part?
