I want to combine the page and category menu.

I'd like to have a consistent navigation menu in the left side bar on every page that consists of both the static pages and the categories listed together under the title of "Content".

A smaller question right off the bat, though, is that the Pages List is not showing up in either side bar even though it is checked. I haven't changed the default settings for the side bars so all the widgets are checked for both side bars. (Which is kinda confusing. Seems like they would all show up on both the left and the right sides but they don't; they are split between two sides.)

Anyway, back to my original two questions:
1) How do I make the Pages List show up in the left sidebar? I have two static pages now but will had more.
2) A longer question: how do I combine the page and category navigation menu.

Many thanks!!!

Installation of widgets is a WordPress feature, not an Atahualpa feature. (Have you used the WP Dashboare->Appearances->Widgets to add the widgets to the sidebars?)

The check boxes in Atahualpa just control wether or not widgets you have installed, will show up on those pages.

2) A longer question: how do I combine the page and category navigation menu.

Can I contribute code to this theme?

I've worked out much of a way to combine the page and category menus. In brief, it involved adding a new %pagecats if clause in bfa_header_config.php, which combines the lists produced by the %pages and %cats clauses - however, when I did this I found the style of the resulting menu didn't look right (unless %pages was also shown, which defeats the purpose) - the font was off, and the menu widths didn't adjust properly.

I did manage to find a workaround by using %pages for my new "marker" and renaming the existing %pages marker to %pagesdisabled. Clearly this is not a proper solution. I've searched for other places the %pages tag might get picked up and used for styling, but nothing obvious jumped out at me...

Please feel free to post your solution. However changes to CSS and Javascript will most likely be required, too
