How can I add the word Subscribe: before RSS Feed Icons and Link Text?
 

I like having the RSS Feed Box in the header area. During my beta testing however, someone commented that they didn't understand what they were for -- a valid comment.

Is there a way to add "Subscribe: " or "Subscribe To: " to the RSS box so it prefaces the selected icons?

I tinkered a bit but couldn't come up with anything that worked.

You would have to edit functions/bfa_header_config.php for this

$logo_area .= 'Subscribe to <a class="posts-icon" ';


You may run into alignment issues with this

An easier way would be to edit

Theme Options -> RSS Settings -> Post Feed Link Text

if you can live with the whole text being on the right hand side of the icon

Thanks. You are correct there is an alignment issue doing it this way ... Subject sits on top of the RSS button. When I get back from Denver next weekend I'll tinker with this some more and see if there's a way to get it in line.

Adding it the text of just one icon looks a bit odd and adding it to all of them gets too lengthy.
