Shorten RSS Feeds

Using BFA subscribe, how do I limit the RSS feed to the first paragraph or X number of words for the feed? I want the reader to come to our site for the rest of the article.

this is a WordPress option - go to Dashboard->settings->reading->For each article in a feed, show:

I have done that. When I say feeds show summary, it only shows the photo. How do I make it show the summary and a thumbnail. (Without the thumbnail would be fine, too.) Thanks for your help.
