[SOLVED] Montezuma versus Lightbox / Thickbox

Hello,

I am using NextGen Gallery with Lightbox and when I activate Montezuma, it stops working (browser just opens the linked image). I have tried various NGG configurations and also Auto Thickbox Plus for non-NGG images, but nothing of that worked with Montezuma and it was without a problem in other themes.

Could you please point me in some direction where the problem might be? I'll gladly provide more information if that helps.

Thank you very much!

Jan

P.S.: Montezuma is a wonderful theme, please don't give up on it!

What kind of problems are you having with the effects? I'm using NGG with the Thickbox effect that comes with it, but I had to play around with the CSS to get the borders & caption to format correctly, and for the overlay to display under the "loading" image as well as the main image itself. Sample gallery here.

Yes, but I didn't find anything that would help me.

Yes, I did. Maybe I wasn't looking good enough.

But I managed to find the cause of this issue. It was my own error, I used CSS comment syntax /* ... */ in Montezuma option fields for "Insert <i> for icons" and "Dual Title Colors". After removing the comments Thickbox started to work again.
