Replacing footer with default footer? (WP polls problem)
 

Apparantly replacing the theme footer with the default footer is something that other people have done to get WP-polls to work properly.

If I do that, will Atahualpha still work? The error message with WP polls is "please choose a valid poll answer" ie it wouldn't accept the vote.

What do you mean when you say replace the theme footer with the default footer?

I assumed it meant that you just copy over footer.php with the footer.php in the default or Kubrick style.

If you replace the atahualpa footer.php with anything else, you will loose the right and right inner sidebars and the footer

If you need to put something in the footer look at the footer theme options

I don't want to do that then :-)
I am still having a problem with wp-polls, people are getting 'please choose a valid poll answer' and are not able to vote. I googled and found this:

I have done most of the suggestions on there and it still works for somepeople only sometimes. Any other ideas would be much appreciated. There is not much choice for polls on wordpress, WP-polls is the only one I can find that works in the blog and is not hosted elsewhere.

With all the "iffy" issues with WP Polls I would look for another polls plugin. There is nothing I can think of doing to the Atahualpa theme that would "fix" it.

I have looked and looked and looked and the only one I can find that just sits on your site is wp polls, others direct you to facebook pages which looks really cheap or to external sites, and then I cant get the widgets to work.

I can't get any of them to work so my feeling is to go with the one that actually does what I want it to do.

I just played with Sodahead polls and I see what you mean. I am going to install WP Polls and play with it for awhile.

It looks like you poll does have answers. Maybe this is related to a particular browser or an older browser. This plugin is kind of hard to test since once you answer a question you can't vote again on that poll.

If possible can you get some information from someone who can't use the poll such as browser they are using?
