HOWTO: upgrade Atahualpa to a new version

Hi all,

I've read the post labelled as above & it mentions backing up the database & wp-config folder. I cannot find that folder at all. Only wp-config.php. Please can you tell me what I'm missing? Many thanks for your help. Are those the only things I need to backup before doing an upgrade? I don't want to lose customizations as it says in the warning! Many thanks for your help.

Michael.

the folder 'wp-content' should be in the same place, on your host, as the 'wp-config.php' file. It's one of the folders that makeup wordpress. you should also see a wp-admin folder ad a wp-includes folder if you are in the right place.

Thanks very much for the quick reply. Unfortunately I do not see that folder. Here is a screenshot from within fireftp. I did not set up this structure. I am just helping adjust the template (it was set up years ago).

The folder you want to backup is the wp-content folder
The file is wp-config.php, there is no wp-config folder

Thank you very much for your help. It's been a long day - I must have misread the post.... Wp-content is there :)
