[SOLVED] Logo & page-menu above header on same line
2 Attachment(s)
Hi there,
I am trying to have a white area (bar) across the monitor above the header. In that bar I want a logo to left align and the page menu to right align: I have tried all kinds of things and googled for a couple of hours, but nothing seems to work. I want it to look like this: Attachment 2761 But what I get is some variation of this: Attachment 2760 My website is www.dievogelschule.com I am using: 3.7.24 Thanks, Ann. |
You need to take the image that is assigned to the 'body' and add the white space to it's top. Then you can add a padding-top to the body to slide the content down

Hi there,
Thank you so much for your quick reply. For the time being I had tried that simply with the blue image, just for testing. No matter what padding or margin I added I could not get the %logo side-by-side to the %page-right. Where exactly in the ATO do I need to add the padding? I just did it on my live site for you to see: http://www.dievogelschule.com It is as if the logo just pushes the entire content down instead of overlaying it. Thanks, Ann. |
Adding more info for you:
ATO/Style & edit HEADER AREA %logo %page-right %image %page-right %bar1 Logo Image Styling padding: 30px 0px 0px 0px |
Me again. I think I just fixed it, just diddling around:
ATO/Style & edit HEADER AREA Logo Image Styling margin: 0px 0px -50px 0px Thank you so much though for helping so quickly and on a Saturday, too. :-) Take care, Ann. |
Looks like you've gt it!

Yes I did. Just diddling around without rhyme or reason. :D
Thank you for your help, though. I sent you a little donation as a token of my appreciation! :) Take care, Ann. |
