[SOLVED] ShareThis problems
 

i am trying to put a ShareThis in BYLINE section so the button appears for every post, both in homepage posts and individual post clicked from sidebar.

when i put the %share-this% in 'BYLINE: Single Post Pages' section it works. but when i have %share-this% "BYLINE: Multi Post Pages" it shows the button multiple times at one spot. same with my homepage with 5 posts, the Sharethis button shows all 5 buttons in one place underneath the post.

It looks like something changed with the plugin, and besides the "classic" version that does not require a membership at their site there's also the new membership version. The integrated support in Atahualpa was meant for the classic version which you can google.

I'll probably drop this tight integration in the next version but you'll still be able to use it by using the PHP code that they provide

For the classic version 1.5, change in plugins/shar-this/share-this.php

@define('AKST_ADDTOCONTENT', true

to

@define('AKST_ADDTOCONTENT', false


and at Theme Options -> Post Page Info Items -> Whereever ..., put

<?php akst_share_form(); ?>

(instead of %share-this%)



Or use the sociable plugin instead
