Drop Down Menus - Creating

Hi,

I've never created a Web site. I'm just learning WordPress as I go along in creatign this Web site.

I'm trying to create Drop Down Menus which I'm told you can do somehow in Atahuapa.

I can only get to the style and edit header area - I tried to save changes after highlighting, nothing shows up on my main page or my about page.

I don't know what's going wrong.

Thanks so much for your help.

You just create sub pages or sub posts. When creating a page or post you can chose a parent for it.

Do you mean you want your category menu to be drop-down? You need to create some categories, and some of them need to have sub-categories which will drop down. Same thing with the Pages menu. Look at http://larchmontgazette.com. You see the Pages menu with Contact Us, and sub-pages for various kinds of contact forms.

Then you see the categories menu, with different kinds of sub-categories for some of the main categories. As Larry said, you need posts that are assigned to those categories or sub-categories, or the cats will not appear in the menu.

Make sure you have included the menu bars in your header area configuration.

Thanks for the follow up Paula. Making a sub post is not possible.
