Sort order of comments in "Page" is wrong, WP: 3.2.1 and Atahualpa 3.6.7
 

Hi

I have a blog that usally pages are mostly commented on.

I have these settings on in WP (Settings -> Discussion)
* Enable threaded (nested) comments 5 levels deep
* Break comments into 25 pages with top level comments per page and the first page displayed by default
* Comments should be displayed with the newer comments at the top of each page

In Apperance -> Atahualpa Theme Options -> Style & configure comments:
* Allow comments on "Page" pages, too?: Yes
* Comment display order: Oldest on top
(Doesn't really matter what the options are set to)

In a normal post the comment-order is correct, on pages it is still in reverse.

(Page 1 starts with 2009, Page 3 starts with 2011)

Does anybody know if this is a WP bug or a Atahualpa bug? :)

what do you have at dashboard->settings->discuession->Comments should be displayed with the ----------- comments at the top of each page?

As stated; newer...

It shows the comments correctly on every Post, but on a Page it is reversed.

Try disabling all your plugins to see if one is causing the issue. in my test, both posts and pages behave the same way

I have now tried with all plugins disabled, no change.

I did one other test, disabling the "Break comments into 25 pages with top level comments per page and the first page displayed by default"

All posts got sorted correctly when disabled...

I guess the paging part of it is the one to blame, or maybe my mysql-server needs to be updated.
