I upgraded to wp 3.1.2 and the css html inserts window dosen't expand to show
 

The "CSS Inserts" window only shows one line of text, I edit by selecting before the first letter and using page down to select all, copy, paste into an editor, edit, select all, copy, go back the css inserts window in the css/html inserts tab of the theme options, select all again, and use "ctl v" to replace all text.

Anyone else? any clues?

What version of Atahualpa and PHP? seems I remember an issue like this when people were using php 4.x

php5.2 i think, above 5 anyway, older atahualpa 3.4.6, and wp 3.1.2. [edit opps its atahualpa 3.5.3 wrong edit window]

It just happened, and its the only error I see, everything else is fine. I just upped the wp, for security reasons, being hammered on a couple sites by bots.

I backed it all up first of course. 3.5.4 on another site is working fine, though different host.

Try disabling all your plugins. There is a issue where different plugins can cause this situation if they use a global jquery variable instead of a local variable. It can raise havoc.
