[SOLVED] Can not add or edit page

I just downloaded 3.5.3 and it was working just great. But, all of a sudden, I was not able to add or edit pages.

I down loaded and installed a fresh version of 3.5.3 but that did not help.

I switched back to the WP delfault theme and the add/edit function works just fine so it apprears to me that the problem is with this theme.

Please help.....

Thanks
Donna K.

Did you add any new plugins? Try disabling all your plugins and see if editing works, then add them in one at a time.

I started trying ATA353 two days ago, just encountered the same issue.
(I installed fresh copy of WP301 and ATA353, no plugins)
WP dashboard > Pages > Edit Page
The entire middle column under "Edit Page" is blank.
However, "Add New Page" is normal, edit/add post is working too.
I thought it's because of my aged Mac...:o

thank you so much juggledad for pointing the direction!
my hosting company said it's php5, but after checking, it's 4.
after update to php5, all works!

to help others with the same issue, here are the two steps I took:

(1) verify your php version
Create a text file, place the following red text:
<?php phpinfo (); ?>
Save the text file as phpinfo.php then upload this file to the root of your webspace and access the page through a browser such as http://www.yourhostingaccount.com/phpinfo.php

(2) update to version 5
create a text file the same way and name it .htaccess with the following red text:
AddType x-mapp-php5 .php
uploade to same place, that's it.
