[SOLVED] Help!!! how do I style the center column?

I know there has to be a way to do this but I'm having a brain fart and can't seem to find it.
I want the background of the page to be black... I did this...
HOWEVER, the center column is also black... the post container is white but I need to lose the black around the column.
My url is http://conservativestateofmind.us/
I am thinking maybe change margins... make post container larger??

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks...

Brian
