How to exclude post from frontpage "home"
 

I have a problem of excluding some posts from the homepage.

I have read some were that I as a gold member can get axcess to tools or apps that allow me to exclude some of my posts from appears at the home page.

I need some posts only to be seen at a specific category page but not at the home page. How can I make that happening :-)

If you look in the gold forum tutorials you will find a thread 'HOWTO: Multi Column/Custom Query page template'

You could create two PAGES 'A' and 'B' and assign the template to them

set page 'A' as your home page and set the custom query to 'cat=-3' assuming '3' was the ID of the category you don't want on the home page.

For page 'B', set the custom query to 'cat=3'.

Now the home page (page 'A') will show all posts BUT those in category 3 and page 'B' will ONLY show the posts in category 3

If you wanted to exclude other categories on the home page you could do it with 'cat=-3,-7,-13' as an example
