[SOLVED] Extra bracket and comments not loading

Hello First... I love this theme! It gives me great flexibility!

I seem to be having an issue since the last upgrade.

First there is an extra < showing at the top of the page. I have looked through all of my theme option settings and can not find it. I have not altered the theme codes at all.

Second, the comments, footer etc seem to not load on the individual posts although it does on the home page (which is a static page)

I am giving you a link to a post so you can see both issues.

Thanks so much for your help

I don't see the < at the top. The footer issue is hard to diagnose given the plugins you have installed. I suspect it might have something to do with the footer popup but can't be sure. Try deactivating all your plugins and see what happens.

try disabling all your plugins and see if they show up.

Hello juggledad and lmilesw Thank you for looking.

I did find the < issue. It was in the html/css inserts in a javascript code. Although I do not know which bracket is the issue as the code looks fine but when I remove the entire code the bracket disappears.

I have all the plugins disabled. The footer still doesn't load on single blog posts. I is loading on the pages, and blog home page though, as before.

oh brother I found the issue. It was my fault again... an extra quotation mark in the "edit post/pages info" section. So sorry for taking your time, but your suggestions did get me looking in the right direction so I am ever grateful to both of you!!
