[SOLVED] Trouble using the Image Widget

I am learning Atahualpa and had a friend help me with switching my site to this theme and she included a Revolution Slider for the home page. This widget is inserted into a Home_slider_or_pix widget on the far right hand side.

I want to upload images for other pages but when I include them by adding the Image Widget underneath this and check the page I want it on, the pic shows up underneath this Rev Slider and not on the pages I want them. If I add them under header_slider they don't show up anywhere.

I have to think I'm doing or not doing something very simple, but am at a loss as to figure it out. If I try using the Featured image option, the photo doesn't show up anywhere. Any help will be appreciated!

I'm not quite clear on what you want to do. You mention the revolution slider and then you mention adding an image widget.

If you only want the images to show on certain pages and not the slider you need to use a plugin that lets you define where widgets show or don't show. One of those is "Display Widgets" there are others as well.

So sorry I'm not explaining this well. I'm new to this theme and the additions my friend added and what seems like it should work isn't. I have a Rev Slider for the home and a few other pages. I want to create some stationary images for some of the other pages. I have 2 header locations -- one is titled "header slider or pix" (where the Rev Slider is) and the other titled "header slider". (I'm not sure why I have 2 header widgets?) When I put the Image Widget into place under the Rev Slider widget and check the pages I want the image to show on, it only shows up on the pages where the Rev Slider is and not on the pages I have checked. If I put the Image Widget under the header slider and click which pages I want to show up, nothing happens. I have the pages checked that the Rev Slider and the Image Widget should show on but they don't -- they only show on the same page.

What tool/plugin are you using to "check the pages" you want the image or slider to show on?

I did get it fixed -- not sure how though! I removed the header slider that wasn't being used. Maybe that made the difference?? But to answer your question, I am using the Image Widget and the Revolution Slider for images. The "check pages" is withing those. Thanks a bunch for helping me!
