[SOLVED] HTML table below the header
Hello everybody!
I just downloaded this beautiful and customizable template that seems to be almost perfect for me since I don't know anything about coding. I want to restyle my old website (www.ziorip.com/it) with a two columns template like atahualpa, but I have a problem. I have created an html file with a bar of buttons that I use to have below the header in my old site. Whatever I have tried inserting the code in the template.php file doesn't show what I would like to... It seems to me that the table in HTML that I have created alway overlays the two columns and in fact is not centered. Can anyone help me, please? I have created a test version of the site at this address where it's visible the problem: http://www.ziorip.com/test Thanks in advance! :) |
did you try dropping your code in Atahualpa Theme Options -> HTML/CSS Inserts -> HTML Inserts: Header?
If not, where did you put your code to generate the links? |
No, I pasted the code at the bottom of the header php.
Now I did as you told me, but the html code appears on the top instead of the bottom. Is there a way to make it appear at the bottom? |
looks like you will need to edit header.php. try putting it right after
<!-- Header --> <td id="header" colspan="<?php echo $cols; ?>"> <?php bfa_header_config($bfa_ata['configure_header']); ?> ---> your code here |
YEES, it works!!
Thank you very very much! :) Are you one of the template developers? |
nope, I'm just a user oft he forum . I do have a tech support background. But if you like and use the forum, give Flynn a donation
Also if this solved your problem, go up to the top of the posts for your problem and on the right hand side, you should see 'Thread Tools'. At the bottom of the pull down is says 'Mark this thread as solved' Have fun |
Thank you for you answers, I just installed this template and I thought to evaluate it better before making a donation, my website is based on donations too and I really understand how important donations are, in fact is my intention to make a donation as soon as I solve all my problems with this template (which is outstanding).
I was about to close the thread but I have realized that now the images don't rollover anymore when I move the mouse over... To me everything looks good, I paste the code in here, maybe there is something wrong that I don't see. (this code works perfectly in the original website, they just don't work in ziorip.com/test I also have moved the template on ziorip.com/it but the rollovers don't work anyway). Thanks again, you are very kind :) <body onload="MM_preloadImages('http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/mail_click.jpg','http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/mail_over.jpg','http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/abc_over.jpg','http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/negozio_over.jpg','http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/problema_over.jpg','http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/commercio_over.jpg','http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/aiuto_over.jpg','http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/feed_over.jpg','http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/rar_over.jpg')"> <table width="1000" border="0"> <tr> <td width="79"> </td> <td width="100"><a href="http://www.ziorip.com/it/ottieni-indirizzo-zioripcom/" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Image1','','http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/mail_over.jpg',1)"><img src="http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/mail_off.jpg" name="Image1" width="99" height="100" border="0" id="Image1" /></a></td> <td width="100"><a href="http://www.ziorip.com/it/elenco-dei-corsi/" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Image2','','http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/abc_over.jpg',1)"><img src="http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/abc_off.jpg" name="Image2" width="100" height="100" border="0" id="Image2" /></a></td> <td width="100"><a href="http://www.ziorip.com/it/2009/03/30/pre-ordine-per-il-dvd-del-corso-basico/" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Image3','','http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/negozio_over.jpg',1)"><img src="http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/negozio_off.jpg" name="Image3" width="100" height="100" border="0" id="Image3" /></a></td> <td width="100"><a href="http://www.ziorip.com/it/segnala-malfunzionamenti/" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Image4','','http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/problema_over.jpg',1)"><img src="http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/problema_off.jpg" name="Image4" width="100" height="100" border="0" id="Image4" /></a></td> <td width="100"><a href="http://www.ziorip.com/it/richiedi-informazioni/" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Image5','','http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/commercio_over.jpg',1)"><img src="http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/commercio_off.jpg" name="Image5" width="100" height="100" border="0" id="Image5" /></a></td> <td width="100"><a href="http://www.ziorip.com/it/aiuto/" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Image6','','http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/aiuto_over.jpg',1)"><img src="http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/aiuto_off.jpg" name="Image6" width="100" height="100" border="0" id="Image6" /></a></td> <td width="100"><a href="feed://www.ziorip.com/it/feed/" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Image7','','http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/feed_over.jpg',1)"><img src="http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/feed_off.jpg" name="Image7" width="100" height="100" border="0" id="Image7" /></a></td> <td width="100"><a href="http://www.ziorip.com/it/download.php?id=password" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Image8','','http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/rar_over.jpg',1)"><img src="http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/rar_off.jpg" name="Image8" width="100" height="100" border="0" id="Image8" /></a></td> <td width="79"> </td> </tr> </table> <table width="1000" border="0"> <tr> <td><img src="http://www.ziorip.com/it/barra09/istruzioni.jpg" width="1000" height="44" /></td> </tr> </table> |
the reason the mouse over doesn't work is that it is calling the function MM_swapImgRestore() which you did not include in your code. I took a look at the source of the original page and it looks like you need to add the following code to tahualpa theme options -> HTML/CSS Inserts -> HTML Inserts: Header
<script type="text/javascript"> <!-- function MM_swapImgRestore() { //v3.0 var i,x,a=document.MM_sr; for(i=0;a&&i<a.length&&(x=a[i])&&x.oSrc;i++) x.src=x.oSrc; } function MM_preloadImages() { //v3.0 var d=document; if(d.images){ if(!d.MM_p) d.MM_p=new Array(); var i,j=d.MM_p.length,a=MM_preloadImages.arguments; for(i=0; i<a.length; i++) if (a[i].indexOf("#")!=0){ d.MM_p[j]=new Image; d.MM_p[j++].src=a[i];}} } function MM_findObj(n, d) { //v4.01 var p,i,x; if(!d) d=document; if((p=n.indexOf("?"))>0&&parent.frames.length) { d=parent.frames[n.substring(p+1)].document; n=n.substring(0,p);} if(!(x=d[n])&&d.all) x=d.all[n]; for (i=0;!x&&i<d.forms.length;i++) x=d.forms[i][n]; for(i=0;!x&&d.layers&&i<d.layers.length;i++) x=MM_findObj(n,d.layers[i].document); if(!x && d.getElementById) x=d.getElementById(n); return x; } function MM_swapImage() { //v3.0 var i,j=0,x,a=MM_swapImage.arguments; document.MM_sr=new Array; for(i=0;i<(a.length-2);i+=3) if ((x=MM_findObj(a[i]))!=null){document.MM_sr[j++]=x; if(!x.oSrc) x.oSrc=x.src; x.src=a[i+2];} } //--> </script> |
thanks!
I made it yesterday and I have even solved a more complex code.. wow!! :) If you want to take a look of the right version of the site: www.ziorip.com/it Ciao! :) |
