Nearly done with my site after a bit of messing around......If you're not on Firefox (IE, Opera, Safari et. al.) could you let me know how it works?

Thanks a lot Flynn.

Here is my work --

http://www.a2zofyoga.com/

I need to do some more tweaking but seems I am done with most of options....

whatsmytruth May 14, 2009 11:48 AM

Hey, jalanbk

How did you get seperate borders around all of your widgets on your left and right sidebars if you don't mind me asking. It's very nice.

swany11 May 15, 2009 06:02 AM

Here you go. Just small tweaks at this point. Let me know what you think. I am not a big fan of our logo/header text. My creative skills are minimal at best. :)

www.brainsquestionmark.com
... Looks good to me but the load time was nearly a minute. Not sure what is going on? The initial background graphic came right up but the rest of the content took nearly a whole minute to load up.

You may need to install a caching plugin or something.

i used tables here--will look at making individual tables with CSS later when i brush myself up with CSS

Once again, Atahualpa has come to the rescue.

This is for a community "event" site for a Motorcycle Cruise-In that happens every summer.

Thanks again for the speed in which Atahualpa allows a rollout.

There's not much 'content' as yet, but room for that has now been established.

You can visit the Thunderburg site here.

Thanks for the tip mate, I installed WP Super Cache, hope that does it.

I'm totally enthousiastic about this theme.
I've created a site for a client of mine using the theme and I never thought I could find such a freedom in the configuration both for the architecture and the design !:)

This is the adress of the site ... www.martinewicki.ch for the pleasure of showing the flexibility of the theme.

Thanks to all the team for this great work that saves me so much time

I love the Atahualpa theme, check out my website here Coffee Chat, and let me know what you guys think :)

juggledad May 22, 2009 12:27 PM

first thing I would do is change the header image alignment to Top left so the cup won't disappear off the page if you resize the page narrower

Second - I'm confused why YOU have comments on our own posts

CoffeeChat May 22, 2009 01:31 PM

I am changing servers so the site is currently down, but once it is up I'll try messing around with the header and see if it looks any better in the middle..

and for the comments they aren't really comments but ping backs, which show other posts which are linked to the post you are view.. I probably should take them off they don't look to good

thanks for your input.. :)

I thought this might be a good place to post an extension I wrote, because I love and use the Atahualpa theme and it's the only theme I've tested it on. =)

It's called Un Gallery. It embeds a directory tree of photos as a gallery within WordPress. There is no choosing files via a WP admin page or adding files to the WP database or anything. Once configured, the extension just parses the photo file hierarchy including any edits, deletes or additions that are made to it since the last browser refresh.

The files are on github: http://github.com/mmond/ungallery/tree/master

An example installation is available on my site: http://markpreynolds.com/gallery

A few more details:

Imports a directory tree of graphic files and embeds them in WordPress. The main value of Un Gallery is zero management of the photo gallery within WordPress. After configuring Un Gallery, you can upload, move, delete and edit the photo files directly on the server. Un Gallery will pick up all the changes made to the file hierarchy immediately.

* Unlimited depth, breadth, and number of photos in library. Mine has approx 6,000.
* Photo library is managed outside of WordPress, simply update via FTP, SCP, etc. Un Gallery sees changes immediately.
* Set optional banner captions
* Hidden, private galleries
* Thumbnail cache files are added to photo directory for faster page loads
* Support for png, jpg, bmp, mov, avi, mp3, mp4

This script is still beta. Feel free to use it, extend it or contact me with questions.
Much of the script is taken from other published sources and noted inline.

Thanks for the great WP theme and all the support efforts on this site. It helped me debug the gallery formatting.

Do you have any estimate as to when this WP Gallery will be offered as a WP PlugIn?

dougfoot May 25, 2009 11:05 PM

I really like this theme, and have been playing with the many settings with my site http://www.crazytrike.com

Take a look and let me know what you think of it.

Thanks

Doug

Joe,

Thanks for your interest. I don't have an immediate ETA on the Un Gallery extension as a plugin. I'm new to WP development and not entirely certain that it will work as a plugin yet.

That was the original goal though, so I'm looking at it and will follow up when I have better info.

Best,
Mark

I am new in using wordpress and hoping to get valuable ideas from those sites.
I recently switched off to this theme and found it amazing!
Many nice-looking free themes out there but just a few of them accompanied by good and friendly support.
I plan to donate some soon.

Thanks Flynn!

Here's my contribution.
Probably a bit basic but not too bad (I think) for a first attempt.

I'm using the theme on three sites:

I love it, everytime it looks different :)

http://markpreynolds.com/gallery NOW, that is slick. You know I've never posted here, but I have to start because I love this and researched a very pricy them (thesis) for a client last month. I think Atahualpa is probably better and glad I did my research.

I've been working on a few sites and have all of 3 weeks in them but the progress is good. I've got her (a client) blog up now at http://bipolaroni.com and doing some fruitful testing on my own at http://12flat.com - I'm an ex joomla guy, still loyal but no new sites for them, sorry. WP is hands down more fun.

This is a great community and I'm looking forward to being part of it for years to come. Great work everyone. The two media players I have (1 in each site) are the ssp component for flash from slideshowpro run from a hosted director account. The cool thing about ssp is you can embed links in images, mp4's or flv's - brand it to your site if you know flash and own the component.

Cheers,
Stuart L.

Hey, thanks 2sticks! Good looking sites you posted there yourself.

Joe, I've updated the scripts to function as a plugin now. There are still a couple minor install steps, like a creating a single page called "gallery", but that is about it.

I published a blog page with all the details, a download link and a version status that I will keep current. I've also submitted the plugin to WP.org to be hosted on their subversion repository, officially.

Take care all.

In addition to Tip20.com,
I have done some other sites with this amazing theme:
MyCreditFinder.com
C.ONSPIRACY.com
PandemicFever.com
GodlessWonder.com
MatrixTrilogy.net

Most are still works in progress...
A couple more in the works. This is the best theme!

Here's mine- just figured out how to get the drop shadow right.:)
I too love this theme!
