Problem with adding a pic to custom post template in center area
 

Hi everybody.

I ve created a website with one problem remaining.

This website has 99% statatic pages - so I set up

a static page calles Startseite as Frontpage

Instead of real blogging I am using it for News - in German calles Neuigkeiten.

Therefore I set up a blank Page called Neuigkeiten as Post/Blog Page.

This is running so far.

What i tried to do is to show one Picture at the top of the center area above the Postings.

For that I made a copy of index.php an called it neuigkeiten.php an added my Picture where I want to have it shown. I have also edit the Header inside so that I am able to choose the Neuigkeiten Template when creating a page.

I set up my blog page to use the Neuigkeiten Template, but the picture is not coming up.

If I create any other new Static page an use the Neuigkeiten Template, just for testing it works.

So my question:

What am I doing wrong?

Nobody any idea how to realise this.

why don't you just add your image to ATO->Style & edit CENTER COLUMN->Content ABOVE the LOOP?
