Images in post not showing on Category, Archive, or Tag page
 

I use a lot of photos in my posts, and on the main page and the individual article/post page they show up just fine. However, if you view by category, archive or tag, only the text shows.

Ex. post with images:
http://lv-conventions.com/?p=118

Ex. category list w/no images showing:
http://lv-conventions.com/?cat=6

How do I get the images to show on those pages too? I've browsed other sites using this theme and their images show up so it must be something simple I'm completely missing.

See "Post or Excerpts" in the theme options. On excerpts, WP will strip tags, images etc...

first, thank you for your work, it's amazing.for people who are not fluent in code, it's miracle !
my question is : it is possible to have a small image ?
in fact, all my posts have big images. if I've 50 posts in a category, I cant let it with the original size.
is it a way to show only a reduction ? (vignette) ?

Thanks from me too! That fixed my Atahualpa blogs, but I have a couple of other style blogs as well. Do you know where in the Wordpress code itself the setting is for displaying posts rather than excerps? That way, we could just use the Appearance->Editor feature to modify any theme. My example site is toddler learning toys. I looked through all the standard WP settings and could not find any post/excerpt setting. Thanks again.

with the latest releases of Atahualpa, it creates teh excerpt itself and you can tell it which html tags to leave in the post (like the <img>)

I was also confused about photos not showing up when I clicked on the archives widget.

As mentioned above, I resolved it by going to Configure Excerpts, setting my excerpts to 1500 words and setting all the Full Posts or Excerpts choices to Full Posts.

And Voilá! All the pictures magically appeared.:)

It is possible that I don't need to set excerpts at 1500 but I just wished to be sure that the whole post was showing.

Atahualpa, following wordpresses defaults, strips all HTML from an excerpt. Since an image <img> is HTML, it is stripped.


if you want full posts on those pages look at the other options in the 'Configure EXCERPTS' options - like 'Posts or excerpts on CATEGORY pages?' - what do you have it set to? You could set it to full pages

Or you could add <img> to the 'Don't strip these tags' ...
