Second Attempt
 

I want to first thank those who offered solutions to the problem of my site being sluggish.

I added PHPSpeedy about a week ago, and wanted folks to give it a run again and let me know if the site is at a normal speed. Please click through various pages, or open in multiple tabs.

I can never tell if it is my browswer, internet connection, host server, or word press.

One thing I have noticed is that when you add or edit a post and save it, and then go to open your site, it is extremely slow.

It's kinda slow, between 3.x seconds and once I even got 15 seconds. You could try to find out where the delay is coming from with this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-debug/ and this one http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/debug-queries/

And now it's quite fast, tried several pages, all below 1 second. If you didn't change anything then you're probably simply suffering from a web hosting server that is slow when other users on the server are doing something resource intensive, but is fast the rest of the time.

Still slow. It took 6.249 seconds for the front page to load just now, 7:40am, EDT.
