[SOLVED] Links To Outside Websites Not Working :-(
 

Hi, I am using the latest versions of Atahualpa and Wordpress.

I have a couple of links to external websites, but they are not working.

My website is: http://www.eldoradorealty.co

On the home page at the bottom the link with the number: 01745219 is not working.

Also, on the Contact Us page the link to Google Maps is not working also.

It was working before, but now it is not. I did not do any changes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That link goes to a parked page.

url was coded with 'ww...' when it should be 'www....' - I've edited it

works for me.

That's interesting. It works if I copy the url and paste it into my address bar or if I right click and say open in new tab but it doesn't work if I just click it.

The above applies to Firefox and IE9. I works fine in Chrome and Safari.

Yeah, it does not work on my Firefox browser.

What do you think is the problem with the link?

looks like a FireFox bug - doesn't work in firefox on the mac eithor. Suggest you start searching FireFox forums to see if there are problems with some types of links.

it might have someting to do with the fact you are linking to a .asp on another site

When I copy that javascript code to a test site it works fine in Firefox. Try deactivating ALL your plugins to see if the link works and if it does start reactivating a few at time to fine the culprit.

Same problem, latest version of Atahualpa and 3.2.1 wordpress. The website is www.progressiveresearchinstitute.org.

I deactivated all the plugins and still can't see the links that appear in the posts composition (HTML) screen.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Doh! Now I get it! Under "Atahualpa Theme Options"/Posts and Pages/Configure Excerpts", I had Excerpts activated. So I just told that module to stop stripping <a> html and my links now appeared. Amazing!
