How do I get rid of "Your title here" in the browser title bar?
I've used the older versions of the Atahualpa theme and there was a way to have a relevant title that I determined for each page showing up in the < title > tag. Of course I can't remember now and I can't find the thread on the forum that described that. Seems like there are some files missing that we used to be able to edit. Anyone know how to get my title into the title bar?
Thanks so much. |
That function had been removed from some versions of Atahualpa but is back as a choice in v3.5.1 (off by default). Just go into ATO>Configure SEO and select Yes to Use Post / Page Options.

Thanks. I have "Yes" selected in that option, but it still says "Your title here".

Where does it say Your Title Here?

It looks like you aren't using a blog title which is set in the general setting for WordPress. You should have your blog title set there and turn off the display in the theme options. Or perhaps do you have an SEO plugin?

Thanks. I'll check that out. This has been a very weird go-round with WP and the theme this time. And now I'm having problems with All-in-one-Cufon, which I've used multiple times before with no problems. :S

There is another thread in hear somewhere about @font-face not working which I believe is what cufon uses. Hmmmm.
With regards to having a particular title on the browser tab there are some SEO plugins that give you that ability. The SEO Ulitmate plugin has a Title Tag Rewriter for instance. |
