Double width sidebar widget?
 

I've styled my theme to have a right sidebar and an inner right sidebar. Is it possible to make a widget area at the top of these two sidebars, one that spans the width of both?

I did it a few years ago (with an earlier version of Atahualpa) by going into the code, but I'd prefer to do it in the theme options if possible.

I've been playing with "add new widget areas" but that seems to be more useful for adding a wide area between the header and the body.
