How to add links under the header?

Hi All, first things first, think this theme is great, not donated via paypal yet but definitely will do.

At the moment I have the 'bar1' showing under the header with the 'Home' button on it.

I would like to add other buttons that link to other pages of my blog.

ie I have a page full of photos that are part of the blog http://chocolatebones.co.uk/kev/photos/ and want to link straight to it, plus have the options to link to other sites or pages.

I have looked all over and can't find what I need, I do realise its probably quite simple but any pointers in the right direction much appreciated.

Kev (my website is www.chocolatebones.co.uk/kev ) if its easier to take a quick look and see what I mean.

I have managed to get the navigation bar where I want it, I now need to add another link on the same bar to my photo page and have the ability to add further links across the bar.

Any help at all much appreciated, wil continue searching the forum.

Searched everywhere to try and find out how to add links onto the page navigation bar but no joy. I assume they should appear automatically but for some reason my page that has been created does not appear and i have no idea how to add further links, any help appreciated, I bet it is quite simple to do but no idea at all.

Hi All
I seem to be getting there slowly but no help as yet? Do I have to wait until the end of the month (pay day) to contribute through PayPal before help is given?

At the moment I have copied this code from my previous kubrick theme in header php.

<div id="navmenu">
<ul>
<li><a href="http://chocolatebones.co.uk">Main Site</a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.chocolatebones.co.uk/kev/">Blog-Home</a></li>
<li><a href="http://www.chocolatebones.co.uk/kev/photos/">Photos</a></li>
<li><a href="http://chocolatebones.co.uk/kev/contact-me/">Contact</a></li>
</ul>
</div>

It worked but just gave me a vertical list of links below my page navigation bar, any ideas at all how to get these links horizontally along the bar.

As always any information much appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, I posted the following text at the very bottom of the bfa_header_config.php (wasn't quite sure exactly where it should go)

$page_menu_bar .= '<li><a href="http://www.chocolatebones.co.uk/kev/photos/">Photos</a></li>';

Instead of a link appearing on my navigation bar I got a broad white line appearing above my header with the text below.

$page_menu_bar .= '
Photos
'; http://www.chocolatebones.co.uk/kev/photos/

Will take another look in case I have typed or done something wrong?
Also got this message:-
';

what version of Atahualpa?

kevandali Jul 21, 2009 08:45 AM

Version 3.4.1

juggledad Jul 21, 2009 08:55 AM

in 3.4.1 locate line 48 in bfa_header_config.php. it should be
PHP Code:

$page_menu_bar .= '</ul></div>' "\n"

so add your code right BEFORE that line
