Unable to change the Read More tag

At the home page, I cannot seem to change the text of the Read More tag.

It keeps showing up as "Read the rest of this entry »" even though within the Atahualpa Theme options, I have change the "Read More" text to "<p>Continue reading %post-title%</p><p> </p>"

Could you advise?

Are you using the read more tag or excerpts to control when to "read more". There is s different spot to set what you see when using excerpts and if Atahualpa is set to show excerpts that will override the read more tag.
