I am very interested in themeframe but ...

I read this: "ThemeFrame is Itself not a WP theme, it does not install inside and does Not required Wordpress to run"

I wonder if in my ubuntu I can run Themeframe or if I need windows.

Thank you.

ThemeFrame runs with-in a browser and the requirements clearly state it will run on Linux. You should be good to go.
I plan to try it out on my Debian based Linux distro as well...

Requirements:

* 1280+ px width monitor
* Win, Mac or Linux computer
* Locally installed web server environment: Wamp (Win), Mamp (Mac) or Xampp (Win/Mac/Linux)

Themeframe outputs a Wordpress theme that you'll then be able to install as a theme in Wordpress. But Themeframe is not a theme itself. It designs themes. Currently you have to run it on a server, which you can run on your own machine if you have server software installed. Make sense?

You will be better served by doing a google search and finding some of the explanation for installing one of the server packages. It depends on your platform (mac, unix or PC), OS version, the hardware and other variables that others can explain better that this forum.
