Fatal error: Call to undefined function: is_tag() in bfa_get_options.php
 

I recently took over Web admin duties for my church after the previous admin moved out of state. I a bit of a newbie to Wordpress.

Our site is hosted by Concentric and uses:
PHP Version 4.4.8
Wordpress version 2.2.3

I uploaded Atahualpa 3.4.2 into the themes directory, but after changing to the theme in wp-admin got the following error in the browser window viewing either wp-admin or the main site:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: is_tag() in /web/wordpress/wp-content/themes/atahualpa342/functions/bfa_get_options.php on line 152

After deleting atahualpa342 from the themes directory I was able to log back into wp-admin and revert to the previous theme.

I realize that the PHP and Wordpress versions are a little old, but I was hoping to avoid the trouble of upgrading them. Any other suggestions of things to try to get the Atahualpa theme working?

I'm pretty sure that this is because you are on php4. I urge you to upgrade your wordpress version also. Several known flaws are being utilized to hack into early versions of WP.

I see the security bulletins warning of vulnerabilities in older version of Wordpress, so I'll make upgrading Wordpress and PHP the priority.
