Place tagline immediately beneath the title instead of having a space?

Hi everyone. I'm using a header image with an overlay title and tagline. At the moment there's a large space between the title and the tagline. I'd like to place the tagline immediately below the title (as in, descenders of the title overlapping the ascenders of the tagline). Reference thread.

1. If I add something to the CSS inserts, how would I refer to the tagline in a selector? My knowledge of CSS is basic.

2. Also, I don't think margins/padding would be relevant in this case ("negative" padding?) - unless it was to change the margin/padding of the title element as well. The other option I thought of was some kind of vertical offset, like a superscript, but I don't know what CSS property would have that effect. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance - hope I've posted in the right place.

What is a real help in the CSS selector area is using Firebug with Firefox. I used it to find that the tagline selector is p.tagline for instance.

Ah! I am using Chrome but that has a developer tool as well, knew its function but forgot about it. Thanks so much! :)
