Latest Forum info needed
 

Hello All,

I have searched this forum already and only found old threads so am looking for upto date info.

I have a wordpress website with a artisteer theme. I want to add a forum to it which is simple and secure and where I can add google or amazon ads later on.

Can I just install a simple pluging like bbpress and that will just use the current artisteer theme and just add a forum to a page that I make or is it more complicated than that ?

Also I did read about a seperate forum which I would install using cpanel onto a sub folder of my currnet site like below.

You should install bbPress to a subfolder of your site. For instance if your site url is
HTML Code:

http://www.mysite.com

you should put bbPress in
HTML Code:

http://www.mysite.com/bbpress

Of course the subfolder doesn't have to be named bbPress

I just want the simplest way that will work and give me a header like the current one on my wordpress site.

P.S. I am not a coder, so thats why it needs to be simple.

this forum is for users of the Atahualpa theme. If you would like to swap to Atahualpa, feel free to ask questions, other wise I suggest you go ask your theme's author.
