Is it possible to have custom sidebar content for single posts?

Hello,

I offer advertising on my website and I have a client who wants an ad placed in the right sidebar but only on one particular post. Is there a work-around to do this? Or, will I need to place the ad within the post and not in the sidebar?

Thanks in advance for your help,
Chloe

Checkout the plugin Widget Logic. I've used it to specify which Widgets show up on different pages. I think that would work for what you need, it's easy to use and you'd probably find other uses for it in the future.

Best,
Caryn

Thanks Caryn. That looks like it will work fine.

I use a plugin called "widget context" that does the same thing.
