pre-customized Atahualpa on WPMU

Hi. This is a great theme.

I am wondering if there is a way I could make all the blogs on my WPMU installation use the same customized version of Atahualpa. Ie. customize it once and then all the blogs using Atahualpa on my site look the same.

Also, is there a way to save and import customizations from blog to blog?

Did you ever get an answer to this?

there is a way to copy a theme. It involves using phpMyAdmin or mysql command line.
First you select only the options from teh wp-options table that relate to teh Atahualpa theme (search for export.php to get the syntax) and export hr results to a file.
Next you switch to the database you want to import then to and then do a 'delete from' withthe same where clause and lastly do an import of the file created in the export

yes, with wp3 and newer style of wpmu and domain mapping plugin - you can preset some things in the theme by editing the theme on your main blog, the individual edits on each blog the the ATO will still work

For example on my main WPMU admin blog I have a corner peel ad - this is done with a javascript added to the header file in my theme folder for main blog - now this add appears on all blogs in my wpmu. I also have banner ad between each post, this is served using a javascript calling on openx and the script is hard coded into the footer area.

I realize this is a really old question - but with new wp3 and wpmu changes thought an updated answer was relevant :)
