having trouble implementing the wordpress tabs slides plugin

I am having trouble implementing the wordpress tabs slides plugin. I have contacted the developed of the plugin and he is not able to help me, after many tries. I think its something to do with all the machinations I have performed on my wordpress while trying to figure out how to do things. The problem: I want to put the tabslide widget in the body of a post on one page of my website. When I add the shortcode to the post, rather than showing tabs, the center column and the right column are blank.

What version of Atahualpa and WP?
What is the url showing the issue?
do you have a link to the plugin home page?

I've got it working. Make sure you've followed the directions here:
http://ibad.bebasbelanja.com/wordpress-tabs-slides.html

Not very good documentation. Did you set the plugin folder to writeable?

using Atahualpa 3.4.4 and WP 2.7 (hosted on Ipower). A bit more info: I am trying to use several pages as individual blogs so have implemented inline posts and ultimate category excluder plugins. If I put the short code in the page http://pineknotfarmandlab.com/back-porch-girls-only/ it works. However, if I put in the post I am using for the home page, http://pineknotfarmandlab.com.. it wont' work. (I have previously been using Featured content gallery but i didn't feel it was sufficient.. (What I am trying to do is something like is used here http://thepioneerwoman.com/ that lets my readers know when certain pages have new blog entired.

Hi Paulae,
I'm trying to use the same plugin, read the instructions, not working...
Theoretically if I paste this

{tab=Tab 1}
Contents Tab 1
{tab=Tab 2}
Contents Tab 2
{/tabs}

in a page in HTML view, it should give me the same result as he has on the screenshot - or am I completely on the wrong track here?
Have you managed to use it?
Thanks,
Ildi

Oh, since then I found heaps of comments on various other sites that this plugin doesn't work... so I guess that's it then... :(

I got it working. For some reason, there was a
Code:

<pre></pre>
set before and after the tabset. Removing that makes it work. Check your HTML code.

EDIT:

See comment below. Different plugin.

Actually, kids, the plugin I have working is this one: http://w4dev.com/w4-plugin/post-page...set-shortcode/

And it uses square brackets, not curly ones. I have a test page running it at http://aghca.org/testing/
