Page menu bar issue with IE8/Win7
Hi!
My blog is http://beyondentropy.aaschool.ac.uk/ When one opens it for the first time in IE8, the page menu bar shifts up in and appears in the middle of the logo. However if you click on any link it goes back to the position where it is intended to me (right above the category bar. It's working fine in Firefox though. Cheers! Pushkin |
What version of Atahualpa, WP and PHP?
Have you made any changes to the code? What plugins do you have - try disabling them to see if one of them causes it |
I am using Atahualpa 3.4.3 with WP 2.8.4 and PHP 5.2.9.
I am just using 3 plugins; Ozh' Admin Dropdown menu, Role Scoper, and NextGEN gallery. I tried disabling all the plugins and even then I was facing the same problem! |
This is happening to my page too, Ata 3.4.3 and WP 2.8.4. I have the page menu centered. In MSIE, the page menu bar drops down below the header area and behind the Featured Content Gallery. It's fine in Firefox and Safari.
http://www.larchmontgazette.com I have a lot of plugins, and I need all of them. EDIT: I've made the page menu bar un-centered to see if that helps. Nope. If you click on a link, the problem is still there, on other pages. It's as though the page menu bar thinks it is now part of the left sidebar, but it extends into the center column. |
In my case, when I activated Role Scoper on one site, it reversed the order of my "Home" and About" pages - which were first and second in the menu, and now the other way around. As soon as I deactivated that plugin, the order returned to normal.
