Woocommerce and sidebar issue
 

Hi

I know that there was a thread dealing with this which has now been closed.

I added the unhooking code and the sidebar now does not go under the shop and product pages it disappears altogether.

This would be OK but is there something else I can do to get the sidebar back on these pages.

I am in the process of creating this for someone else - Here is the site

I used the unhooking code and now the sidebar does not go under the woo shop page it disappears as does the page border.

I have the same issue ie the right column disappearing on certain pages. i think the issue is touched on here? http://docs.woothemes.com/document/t...compatibility/

to clarify, this is on a fresh install using the latest atahualpa and wp versions as of today

did you look at the thread mentioned in post #4?

I am having the similar trouble with Atahualpa 3.6.4 and Woo Commerce Version 2.0.8. If you go here you will see things are broken on the shop pagehttp://www.licedoctors.com/shop.html and here all product pages have some weird stuff in the footer. http://www.licedoctors.com/product/l...eo-and-support. I have tried all your suggestions as far as footer.php and function.php modifications. Do you have any suggestions.

Hiya, I've upgraded and it's given me the left sidebar back but the right sidebar is underneath the product - any help or ideas much appreciated.

It's better, the right hand sidebar is back but the left hand sidebar is displaying under the product as well.
I've changed the 2 files you suggested.

That must be a woocommerce sidebar, it is not any of the Atahualpa sidebars

hmm, thanks for that. I'll ask them - they only seem to give any support at all for paid themes and none of them look as flexible as Atahualpa, but it's a nice looking shopping cart and I'd love it to work.

Just wondering is there a way to set up a child theme style to stop any future Atahualpa updates taking out the fixes for the woocommerce sidebar issue?

give it a try. if you can put the code in the child theme and it works, it should last over upgrades.
