Cannot remove Horizontal Bars at the top of the page
 

Hey there. I am very new to WP and this theme. I am using WP V 3.01 and version 3.5.3 of the Atahualpa theme.

I have created the beginnings of a simple site at www.cchmwp.com just for practice, but for the life of me I cannot remove those two horizontal bars.

I have searched the forum for answers, tried a couple of proposed solutions that didn't work for me, and I'm stumped.

Any suggestions? Many thanks!---Jackson

I like what you are building.. it seems you have removed them.
But just in case, did you remove %bar1 and %bar2 from style and edit header area? I know its basic.. but..

That is the background image ato->body text & links

@ ortixia, Yes, I did remove the %bar1 and %bar2. The horizontal bars are still there for me..

@juggledad, do you mean I should somehow edit in Body, Text and Links this code?
