Add Alt text to custom header images?
 

I am using two rotating custom images for the header of a client site (http://melissagoodstein.com) and would like to add Alt text for SEO benefit. Is there a way to do that without modifying php files?

Versions used: Atahualpa 3.7.9 and Wordpress 3.4.2

the rotating headers are rotated via a jscript and there is no option to add alt text to them even when not using the rottating images. You would have to edit the code if it was possible.

You could take a look at some plugins that may give that functionality and add a new widget area in the 'Configure header area' option to replace the %image option.
