Horizontal Category menu with subcategories
 

I searched the forums and found all kinds of great info about headers and menus but not this...

I would like to add a second line of category menus, and when you click on the parent category I would like the subcategories to show up, like this:
http://huttig.com/products_doorswindow.aspx

I would rather not have the drop downs... ideas?

Using that particular example you could have the top menu just be links to several pages. Each page would have the "menu" links or images at the top.

Thanks for the suggestion - I could put it on "posts" above the loop, huh? I don't know exactly what code to do though.

Unfortunately, I need the subcategories to remain visible when the parent category is clicked, not just hovered. Hovering doesn't really buy me anything, you know?

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
