Search box missing
 

Hey guys, I'm using Atahualpa 3.6.7.

For some reason, the search box is not appearing on my header, on my settings for search box I clicked "Yes".

I did not configure any of the settings, so I would like to know how I can get the search box back and on the right hand side of my header preferably.

The search box shows up when you add %logo to the 'Configure Header Area' option. If you don't want to use the %logo, you could USE it, view the source of the page, find the search box HTML, copy it and paste it in the 'Configure Header Area' option in place of the %logo

I also have to mention something not associated with your issue. The image on the front page is about 700 Kb and takes awhile to load. That image should be more like 10 to 20 Kb.

The image should be optimized before uploading and then you would choose the thumbnail the appropriate size and perhaps resize that thumbnail a bit for best performance.

I'm having the exact same problem. I thought the search box and rss icons would be on top of the header, but they are not. I understand "what" you are saying, but don't know how to do it... I'm very new to all this. Could you walk me through it?
