Fixed AND floating sidebar at the same time
 

Hello!

How can I make the sidebar fixed as well as floating?

Its easy to make it fixed using this code: position: fixed;

But the it gets fixed such that it doesn't scroll down below the browser.. right?

I want to achieve something similar to the sidebars in here: http://9gag.com/

They scroll till the end of the sidebar and then gets fixed..

Is there any way i can do that in Atahualpa?!

Can you plz suggest me any css code to achieve this effect? I tried to play with position:fixed and bottom:-50px etc but couldn't do it. position:fixed; fixes the sidebar along the length of browser only.... i want it to fixe the entire sidebar so that when someone scrolls down, the sidebar remains there on the browser. Any ideas would be appreciated.

you would have to have a jscript the would know when the last sidebar item showed and then change it to a fixed position
