Archived posts only appear when the admin panel has been opened in the same browser

Hiya:

I looked through the forum, but didn't see this issue listed elsewhere. If it has and I've missed it, please accept my apologies.
Here's the thing:
When I look through my archives, the headers will appear in the summary page, but if I click on the link, I get a message saying that whatever I was looking for isn't there. Okay, troubling, but I'm migrating from Typepad, so I'm expecting weirdness.
But, if I also open the admin panel in the same browser (different tab), the archived posts appear just fine. No problems at all.

I've tried this with both Safari and Firefox and it works the same, regardless of which I’m using at the moment. Also, if I close the admin panel, the archived posts still appear just fine.

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Thanks.

Mark

What version of Atahualpa, WP and PHP?
Are you using any plugins and have you tried disabling them?
Have you made any changes to the code of 'The LOOP'?

Juggledad:

Thanks for the prompt response. I'm using:

wordpress: 2.8.5
atahualpa: 3.4.4
I've experienced this bug will a few plugins turned on, so I turned off everything but Akismet. This was under Wordpress 2.8.4, but when I updated to 2.8.5, I experienced the same behaviors. I've yet to turn any of the plugins on save Akismet.
I haven't messed with the Loop at all, but even if I had inadvertently, that should have been overwritten when I updated to 2.8.5, which happened late yesterday.

Have you heard of anything like this before?

Mark

what version of php?
updating wordpress would not have affected the 'The LOOP' soince I was talking about the ATO->Style & edit CENTER COLUMN->The LOOP

do you know how much PHP menpmory you have (good way to check is to use the WP Security Scan plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-security-scan/)

And who is your host?

Does the same thing happen if you use the default theme?
