[SOLVED] How can I enable author to edit its comment?

Hi there!

How can I enable author to edit its comment?

I tried with WP Ajax Edit Comments plugin (Version 3.01) on Atahualpa 3.4.1 and WordPress 2.8.4., but it's not working for author.

Is there a option that I can enable author to edit its comment in Athalupa directly or I have to use some plugin like WP Ajax Edit Comments? And if I have to use this plugin, how to make it works for author in this theme?

Thanks!

Editing comments is not an Atahualpa function.

Without a plugin, in order to edit a comment, the user must be an editor or administrator.

I ran a quick test of the WP Ajax Edit Comments plugin with Atahualpa 3.4.4 and it runs fine. Check the WP Ajax Edit Comments options in the dashboard

Thanks juggledad!

I guess that I have to go with Atahualpa 3.4.4 and try WP Ajax Edit Comments plugin then.

Closing this thread as solved.
