Hebrew or Rtl styling
Hi,
I am wondering if there is a Hebrew language file out there or a css file that is styled for RTL languages...thx |
There's not RTL style at the moment.

a RTL Style for right -to-left languages would be great . i really nead that

I ran into the same thing. I have a div tag with a style for direction=rtl and lang=he. Works in other themes, but not atahualpa. I really like the theme, but can't figure out why that doesn't work. If I can't get it work, I'll have use a different theme for the Hebrew site...hope to find a cure for it here!

There must be a way to make it work for you.
N2H translator automatically translates one of my Atahualpa sites into Hebrew, and it appears OK: *** URL removed *** |
Are you just looking for a translation plugin? I found one that works nicely: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/...x-translation/
I can't vouch for how well it does Hebrew (I lived in Israel for 6 months when I was 20, but I can't read it very well anymore!), but you can see it in action on a test site of mine: profilet.com. |
I'm not looking for a translator here, the text I want to post is already in Hebrew, but it reads ltr and aligns left. I see in the coding there is mention of rtl, but I don't see how to get that working. It doesn't use the rtl styles when I add them in manually. It's probably something small that I'm doing wrong, especially if some sites are working in Hebrew using this template.
Thanks for the responses! |
I found this site, with loads of plugins that make Wordpress work better as a CMS. Scroll down to the section for multi-lingual sites. Maybe something there will be helpful at the post writing stage.
