change the category bar to tags

I would like to change the category bar on my website, BaltimoreSportsReport.com to three separate tags. Is there a way to customize those links and remove the categories from that bar all together?

If you are using WP 3 and Atahualpa 3.5.3 you can use the WP menu (Appearance>Menus) to build just about any kind of menu structure you want.
